The tea leaves for Milima tea are grown in Kenya at elevations of 6000 feet or higher.  Milima literally means 'mountain' in the local Kenyan 'Swahili' language. This luxurious black tea is affectionatley named for New Orleans’ highest point of elevation: Monkey Hill at the Audubon Zoo!  Climbing to its peak (a whopping 27.5 feet above sea level) is the quintessential experience of a New Orleans childhood. This well-graded tea is sure to bring your senses to new heights with its malty notes and deep Bordeaux-like flavor.
