Mala Beads - Tiger Eye

The term 'mala' is a Sanskrit word for “meditation garland.” Originally, mala beads were used for a special style of meditation called Japa, which means, “to recite.” Malas usually have 108 beads and are used to help the mind focus on meditation, to chant the names of God or count mantras in sets of 108 repetitions. It’s the same thing as prayer beads, or a rosary,
It's fine to wear your mala beads while you are out, doing your daily chores or ready for a meditation. While meditating, people most often wrap them around the wrist, or wear them like a necklace.
