Tarot Card Readings
Tarot cards have fascinated people for centuries, and remain avery good description of human nature and the life experience. They give us a way to tune into our own intuition and discuss the emotions and personal motivations involved in decision making in a very entertaining way. The universal themes depicted in the cards still apply ; love and money continue to rank high in most people's desires, and while we all have our own intuition, we often don't believe or listen to it. Tarot gives us an easy way to access and make intuition work for us, to help make better decisions when we are at a crossroads.
Palm Readings
Palm readings are concerned with self - the union of mind-body-spirit that is you. Internal factors such as beliefs, past experiences and desires all affect the path on you are on and how close you are to the true path of your heart. Obstacles, events all have a purpose and a lesson to teach. Tea leaf Readings
A custom brought to our shores by Eastern European and Russian immigrants around the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century, tea leaf reading is concerned with the “universal questions” - love, money and health.
A quicker and more intuitive method than the cards, tea leaf readings do not use pre defined image/meanings correlation. Instead they use a freely flowing interpertation, using the rapport with the client and the reader's ability in a pure form.
The method of use:
- Place loose tea in cup.
- Pour in ½ inch hot water
- Turn cup upside down on napkin
- Client turns cup all the way over once
- Client places left hand on cup (tune into the individual's vibrations)
- Remove napkin
- Turn cup three times counterclockwise
- Read patterns formed by grounds in cup, beginning at the handle and moving left to right.
